Voice
The phone rings while you are under a sink.
EzyConn answers inbound calls on your own phone number with the same agent that answers your website. The caller speaks, Twilio turns it into text, the agent works out the answer from your own content, and the reply is spoken back — all inside the call, with nothing for the caller to install and nothing for you to run.
Inbound calls
Answered. EzyConn never dials out.
Your Twilio account
Your number, your minutes, billed to you by Twilio.
Starter and above
One module, switched on in your settings.
Why it matters
For a trade, a workshop or a salon, the phone is still where the money arrives. It also arrives at the worst possible moment: mid-job, hands full, van on the motorway, three people in the chair.
So the call goes to voicemail, and most callers do not leave one. They ring the next firm on the list, which answers, and that is the job gone — not to a better business, just to a nearer phone.
A line that is always answered changes that arithmetic without adding a person to the payroll. The caller gets an answer to the question they rang about, and you get the enquiry instead of a missed-call notification.
How it works
Four steps, and one of them is pasting a URL.
There is no telephony to configure, no SIP trunk, no hardware and no porting. If you can get into your Twilio console you can have this running this afternoon.
- 01
You connect your own Twilio account
Not ours. You already own the number, or you buy one from Twilio in a couple of minutes. EzyConn stores your account credentials encrypted at rest.
- 02
You paste one webhook URL into Twilio
That is the entire integration. Twilio now knows where to send a call, and the number keeps working exactly as it did for everything else you use it for.
- 03
A caller speaks, and Twilio writes it down
Twilio’s own speech recognition turns what the caller said into text and sends it to EzyConn as part of the call.
- 04
The same agent answers, out loud
The text goes to the identical agent that answers your website — your pages, your documents, your price list — and the reply is spoken back to the caller through Twilio.
The part nobody else will tell you
Your call minutes are yours. We do not resell them.
Voice platforms that give you a number are also selling you the minutes on it, at their margin, and you find out what the margin is when the invoice arrives. EzyConn does not sit in that path at all: the account is yours, the number is yours, and Twilio bills you directly at Twilio’s own rate.
You can check the price yourself
Twilio publishes its per-minute rates. There is no EzyConn line item on top of them, and we do not quote a call rate on this website because we do not set one.
You can leave without a phone migration
Because the number never moved to us, switching off is deleting a webhook rather than porting a line.
Who uses it
The businesses whose phone rings more than their inbox.
Three of these are administrative work only — reception, scheduling and admin questions. That boundary is stated on their pages, not hidden in a footnote.
Home services
HVAC, plumbing, electrical and any trade that drives to the customer.
Automotive
Mobile mechanics and independent workshops.
Aesthetics & beautyAdministrative only
Salons, spas and clinics booking treatments.
DentalAdministrative only
New patients, appointment changes and treatment enquiries.
HealthcareAdministrative only
Appointment scheduling and patient routing for practices.
Wellness & fitness
Studios, gyms and practitioners booking sessions.
What it can do
Four things worth knowing.
You connect your own Twilio number. Inbound only — EzyConn does not make outbound calls.
- One set of answers, two ways in
- The phone line does not get its own knowledge base to maintain. Update a page, and the answer changes on the website and on the phone at the same moment.
- It does not keep office hours
- A call at eleven at night reaches the same agent as a call at eleven in the morning. Nothing has to be switched on for the evening.
- The number stays yours
- It sits in your Twilio account, on your billing. If you stop using EzyConn you remove one webhook and the number carries on.
- Your credentials are stored encrypted
- The Twilio auth token you save is encrypted at rest, the same way every third-party credential EzyConn holds is.
What it works with
Twilio, and only Twilio. It is the one telephony provider EzyConn connects to, using credentials you supply. There is no other carrier option and no direct SIP connection.
Everything the call produces — the conversation record, any contact created — travels the same way as every other channel: out through Zapier or a signed webhook to your own endpoint.
The same agent also answers on Your website, WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, Email, Zoom. One set of content behind all of them.
What plan includes it
Voice is a Starter module.
It is switched on per workspace, inside your plan, once your Twilio credentials are saved. Twilio bills you separately for the number and the minutes — that part never touches your EzyConn invoice.

Connected integrations are capped per tier, and your Twilio connection counts as one of them. The caps are on the pricing page.

What voice cannot do.
The limit: It answers calls. It does not make them, and the deterministic safety gate that screens incoming messages on the website widget is not wired to the phone line. A message that the widget would stop reaches the agent normally on a call — so voice is not the channel for anything where that screening matters.
No outbound calling
No campaigns, no callbacks placed automatically, no reminder calls. EzyConn is on the receiving end of the line and nowhere else.
No transfer, no menus, no voicemail
There is no warm transfer to a colleague, no press-one-for-sales menu, and no voicemail transcription. It is one agent on one call.
We publish no speed figure
You will see other vendors quote a response time in milliseconds. Ours depends on Twilio, your model provider and the call itself, so any number we printed would be marketing rather than measurement.
A Twilio account is required
There is no EzyConn-supplied number to fall back on. If you do not want a Twilio account, you cannot use this channel.
We do not claim a call books a job end to end
What is verified is that inbound calls are answered by the same agent on your own number. The published booking processes are run and checked on the website widget, and that is where we describe them.
No call recording claims
Anything you need for recording, retention or consent on a phone call is a matter for your Twilio configuration and your own legal obligations. EzyConn holds no telephony certification.
The next call you miss is the one this is for.
Connect a Twilio number, paste one URL, and ring your own line to hear what a customer would hear.
