- Is EzyConn a good Freshchat alternative?
- Yes. EzyConn offers the same messaging and chatbot features as Freshchat but adds native Microsoft Teams, Slack integrations. EzyConn also supports multi-model AI (GPT-4o and Claude) while Freshchat uses Freshworks proprietary AI only.
- How does pricing compare?
- Both offer free tiers, but Freshchat pricing scales per agent ($19 to $79 per agent per month). EzyConn uses flat pricing, billed in INR: ₹2,499/mo for 4 seats or ₹6,499/mo for higher seat limits. For teams of 5+ people, EzyConn is significantly cheaper.
- Do I need the full Freshworks suite to use Freshchat?
- Freshchat works standalone but is designed to upsell into the Freshworks ecosystem (Freshdesk, Freshsales). EzyConn is a complete standalone platform that integrates with your existing tools, with no vendor lock-in.
- Can EzyConn replace Freshchat for e-commerce support?
- Yes. EzyConn integrates with Shopify, WordPress, and other e-commerce platforms. It offers the same live chat, chatbot, and automation features, plus the ability to manage conversations from Teams or Slack.
- Does EzyConn support multiple languages like Freshchat?
- Yes. The EzyConn AI chatbot detects and answers in 30 languages out of the box, so one widget can cover customers in different regions without separate bot flows per language.
- How long does it take to switch from Freshchat to EzyConn?
- Most teams are live the same day. You paste one script tag on your site (or install the WordPress or Shopify plugin), point the AI at your help docs, and connect Teams or Slack. Setup usually takes under 5 minutes; importing knowledge base content adds about half an hour.
