Bookings
The times it offers are times you are actually free.
EzyConn computes openings from your opening hours, your timezone, how long that particular service takes and what is already in the diary — then writes the appointment at your price, in your currency, with the customer’s answers attached. It can move one and it can cancel one, and it will not let two people take the same slot.
- Your opening hours
- Your timezone
- Your services, their length and their price
- Your price list
- The postcodes you cover
Those five settings are the whole configuration. Without opening hours and a timezone a booking process has nothing to offer, so it hands every customer to a person instead of inventing a time.
Why it matters
“Somebody will call you back to arrange a time” is where most enquiries quietly die. The customer has already messaged two other firms, and whoever gets a time in the diary first gets the job.
The alternative most tools offer is a booking link, which moves the problem rather than solving it: the customer has to leave the conversation, work out which service they need, and guess how long it takes.
Here the appointment is made in the same conversation the question was asked in. The customer never sees a second interface, and you never see a transcript that needs turning into a diary entry.
How it works
Six stages, in this order, every time.
It finds out what is being booked
Which of your services, in your own words — your labels, your lengths, your prices, not a generic list.
It checks the things a rule can check
Whether the postcode is one you cover, and whether the phone number they typed is one that actually dials. Both are rules, decided the same way every time.
It works out what is genuinely open
Your opening hours, on your timezone, minus the appointments already in the diary, at the length that service actually takes. The soonest bookable time is offered first.
It writes the appointment
A real row in the diary carrying the answers they gave, at your price and in your currency. Two people cannot take the same slot.
It sends the confirmation email
Queued the moment the appointment is committed, so the customer has it before they close the tab.
It tells you
Your team gets the new booking by email and in the app, on whichever channels you left switched on.
Who uses it
16 of the published processes end in an appointment.
Some businesses travel to the customer, some have the customer come to them, and every one of them eventually needs to move an appointment somebody already has.
Home services
HVAC, plumbing, electrical and any trade that drives to the customer.
The job sheet carries a postcode, not a street address, and you can offer three services.
Automotive
Mobile mechanics and independent workshops.
No dealer management system, no VIN decode, no parts or warranty lookup.
Aesthetics & beauty
Salons, spas and clinics booking treatments.
Bookings and enquiries only. EzyConn does not answer questions about treatments or aftercare.
Retail & showroom
Consultations, quotes and purchase appointments.
No stock lookup. EzyConn can quote a price from your list; it cannot tell anyone what is on the shelf.
Dental
New patients, appointment changes and treatment enquiries.
Reception work only — scheduling and admin. No clinical questions, no triage.
Healthcare
Appointment scheduling and patient routing for practices.
Reception work only — scheduling and admin. No clinical questions, no triage, no emergencies.
Wellness & fitness
Studios, gyms and practitioners booking sessions.
Non-clinical by design. Memberships and billing questions go to a person.
Translation & interpretation
Agencies capturing jobs and booking interpreters.
EzyConn captures and routes the job. It does not translate or interpret.
What it can do
Nine things, and you can check every one.
Each run also records how it ended: appointment booked · appointment moved · appointment cancelled · nothing free — handed to a person · outside the area you cover.
- Offer times from your own opening hours and timezone
- Use your own service length, so a 90-minute treatment does not get a 30-minute slot
- Quote your own price, in your own currency, from your own list
- Refuse a double booking, even when two people are typing at once
- Move an appointment the customer already has, behind a confirmation
- Cancel one, behind a confirmation, because it is the step that undoes something
- Keep the customer’s answers on the appointment for whoever turns up to do the work
- Send the confirmation email automatically
- Push every booking event out through Zapier or a signed webhook
The honest table
What a booking is here, and what it is not.
Every row on the right is something a booking tool could plausibly do and EzyConn does not. We would rather you read this now than discover it in week three.
| What EzyConn does | What it does not | |
|---|---|---|
| Where the customer is | A postcode, checked against the area you cover | No street address. The job sheet never carries one |
| Who the appointment is with | Your workspace diary | No per-person or per-chair calendar. “With Jo” is never offered |
| Paying | The price from your list is quoted | No payment, no deposit, nothing bought in the chat |
| How many | One appointment per run | No recurring appointments, no series, no course of six |
| Urgency | Recorded on the appointment as the customer described it | It changes nothing. No queue, no priority, no paging, no response-time commitment |
| Other calendars | Appointments EzyConn made itself | No Google, Outlook or Calendly sync in either direction |
| Confirmations | An email to the customer when it is booked | No SMS confirmation or reminder from a process. A cancellation sends the customer nothing |
What it works with
Every booking event — created, confirmed, moved, cancelled, completed, marked a no-show, or a reminder falling due — leaves through Zapier or a signed webhook, so you can drop an appointment into whatever you already run your week from.
Read this twice: EzyConn has no CRM, dealer-management, practice-management, EHR, order-management or field-service connector, and it does not sync with Google Calendar, Outlook or Calendly. Availability is worked out from bookings EzyConn made itself. Everything else leaves through Zapier or a webhook.
What plan includes it
Seeing your bookings is free. Taking one automatically is not.
The bookings area of the portal — the diary, the appointment records, the history — is part of every plan. A conversation that books on its own is a workflow, and workflows are a paid module.

Storage, messages and connected integrations are metered on every tier. The figures are on the pricing page, which is the only place on this site that carries a number with a currency symbol in front of it.

What bookings cannot do.
The limit: EzyConn only knows about appointments EzyConn made. There is no sync with Google Calendar, Outlook or Calendly, in either direction — so double-book protection covers this diary and not the one on your phone. If your team books into a shared calendar by hand, that calendar and this one can disagree.
A postcode is not an address
The job sheet carries the postcode used for the coverage check and nothing more precise. A van cannot be driven to a postcode, so somebody still has to get the street name — usually on the confirmation call.
No per-person calendars
One diary per workspace. There is no resource or staff model, so a customer cannot ask for a particular person, and the system will never offer them one.
Nothing is paid for in the chat
No deposits, no card capture, no payment step of any kind. A price can be quoted from your list; it cannot be taken.
Urgency is a word, not a queue
An emergency customer is offered the same times, in the same order, as a routine one. There is no priority, no dispatch order and no response-time commitment behind it.
The confirmation email is best-effort
It is queued after the appointment is committed. If the queue is down, the appointment still exists but the email can be lost without telling anybody. A cancellation sends the customer nothing at all.
One appointment, no series
A run books a single appointment. There is no recurrence and no course of treatments, and details like a vehicle, a policy number or a date of birth can only arrive as prose in a notes field.
The test is whether the time it offers is one you can keep.
Put your real hours and your real service lengths in, and see what it offers a customer on a Tuesday afternoon.
