Across Aesthetics & beauty: Bookings and enquiries only. EzyConn does not answer questions about treatments or aftercare.

The situation it is for

The everyday booking. It is most of a salon's diary and most of its interruptions.

Someone messages wanting a cut or a colour. The bot asks which service, takes their name and number, offers the real times you have free — a colour takes twice as long as a cut, so it offers the right length — and books it.

Who runs it

Hair salons, barbers and beauty studios the customer comes to.

It starts when somebody types

  • book an appointment
  • book a cut
  • hair appointment
  • book a colour
  • make a booking

The conversation

What it asks

6 questions, asked in this order. Every answer is written down for whoever picks the job up.

  1. 01What you need

What would you like booked in — a cut and finish, colour, or both?

Decides how long the appointment is, which item on your price list is booked, and how the next question is worded.

    • Cut & finish
    • Colour
    • Cut & colour
  2. 02How soon

How soon would you like to come in?

Written onto the appointment for whoever works it. It moves nobody up a queue — EzyConn has no priority queue and no callout deadline to sort into.

    • The first appointment you have
    • Sometime this week
    • I've got a date in mind
  3. 03Name

And who should we put this down for?

The name the appointment or enquiry is recorded under.

  4. 04Phone

What's the best number to reach you on?

The only way to reach the customer if anything changes.

  5. 05Email

What's the best email address for the appointment and its confirmation?

The email address it is recorded against.

  6. 06Anything we should know

    Anything the stylist should know?

Context for whoever takes the appointment.

Those options are the starting set. The services you configure — and, where a process asks for them, the languages you work in — replace them, and the wording follows.

The rules that run

Checks, not judgement calls. The same answer every time, from your own settings.

  • Is this a number that actually dials?
  • Is this time still free?

What you need set up

Settings in your own account. Nothing here is guessed on your behalf.

  • Your opening hours
  • Your timezone
  • Your services, their length and their price
  • Your price list

Without your hours and timezone there are no times to offer, so the process hands every customer to a person instead of inventing one.

How it can end

The complete list. There is no other ending it can reach.

  • Appointment booked
  • Nothing free — handed to a person
  • Handed to a person
  • Visitor left
  • Something went wrong — handed to a person

The limits

This process runs end to end. These are the boundaries it still has, published with it so nobody finds them on a Tuesday afternoon with a customer waiting.

  • A confirmation email is sent. No SMS is sent from any process.
  • No individual member of staff is chosen.
  • No money changes hands inside a process.
  • The free-text note must stay non-medical.

Built on the same engine and the same settings — they come to you is one of 6 shapes the whole catalogue is made from.

Everything EzyConn does for aesthetics & beauty

  • AESTH-01Available, with a limit

    Bridal, group and gift-voucher enquiries

    Aesthetics & beauty

You say what it is about and get a straight answer about who is picking it up, instead of a booking form that cannot cope with six bridesmaids.

  • AESTH-03Available, with a limit

Existing client — move or cancel an appointment

    Aesthetics & beauty

You move or cancel your own appointment in the chat, at eleven at night if that is when you remembered, instead of leaving a voicemail nobody picks up until the salon opens.

Run this one on your own hours, services and postcodes.

Starter and above. Your settings decide the wording, the durations, the prices and the times it offers — nothing on this page is a template you have to accept as written.
