What does answering the same questions cost you?
Every repetitive support conversation has a price: agent minutes multiplied by agent cost. Put your own numbers in below and see what an AI chatbot that answers first could save your team. The math is shown in full, and the results are estimates, not guarantees.

$25/mo flat
Formula: 500 conversations × 6 min ÷ 60 × $25/hr = $1,250 human cost per month. Savings = $1,250 × 60% resolved by AI, minus $25 for the Pro plan. Estimates only: your deflection rate depends on your content.
For comparison, a 10-person team on per-seat tools pays Intercom $390+/mo at $39/seat or Zendesk $190+/mo at $19/agent (July 2026 prices). Your team of 3 would start at $117+/mo and $57+/mo. EzyConn plans stay flat no matter how many seats you add.
How the math works
No hidden multipliers, no inflated benchmarks. The calculator uses three lines of arithmetic, all of it visible under your results as you move the sliders:
monthly human cost = conversations × (minutes per conversation ÷ 60) × hourly cost
monthly savings = human cost × share resolved by AI, minus the EzyConn plan price
hours freed = conversations × share resolved by AI × minutes ÷ 60
The plan recommendation follows EzyConn pricing directly: Basic (free) covers up to 100 AI conversations a month, Pro at $25/mo suits teams up to about 1,000 conversations, and Unlimited at $95/mo covers everything above that with unlimited seats. If the plan price would exceed the estimated savings, we show $0 instead of a negative number.
Be honest with the inputs and the output stays honest. Use a fully-loaded hourly cost (salary plus benefits, tools, and overhead), not just base pay. And remember the deflection share is the assumption doing the most work here: actual deflection varies with the quality and coverage of your help content, so results are estimates. Start with a conservative share, launch, then measure your real rate in the dashboard.
Frequently asked questions
Where does the 80% number come from?
It is the top end of what EzyConn beta teams have reported: teams with thorough, well-maintained help content have seen the AI resolve up to 80% of incoming questions without a human stepping in. Treat it as a ceiling, not a promise. Most teams land lower, which is why the calculator defaults to 60% and lets you set whatever share you find believable for your own support queue.
What affects deflection rate?
Mostly the quality and coverage of the content the AI is trained on. If your website and help docs actually answer the questions customers ask, deflection climbs. The mix of questions matters too: repetitive requests like order status, password resets, and plan questions deflect well, while one-off edge cases usually still need a human. Products that change frequently need their content kept current, because stale answers get escalated anyway.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. The Basic plan is free forever, not a trial: 2 seats, 100 AI conversations per month, and no vendor branding on the widget. No credit card is required to sign up. If you outgrow it, Pro is $25/mo and Unlimited is $95/mo, both flat prices with no per-agent fees.
Test the estimate against reality
The free plan includes 100 AI conversations a month, so you can measure your actual deflection rate before paying anything. No credit card required, setup in about 5 minutes.
